My name is Nancy Major, and I am the owner and director of I Can Too Learning Center. Before I started this business, I taught elementary school, grades first and second, for 21 years. After I retired, I founded the learning facility as a tutoring service for a small group of children. From there, it expanded to caring for children ages two through twelve, then eventually progressed to caring for birth through 12 years. Since opening and becoming state-licensed in 2010, the center has grown greatly. We constructed a new building for our center in 2016 to accommodate this program expansion. We have now been serving the community as a state-licensed childcare center in Dent County for 15+ years.

My educational background consists of a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Drury, a Master's in Curriculum and Instruction, Certification in Early Childhood Education as well as several years of annual state trainings. I am also a mother of five, and a Nana to four grandbabies. My family was military, so we traveled a lot when I was young, but I was raised for the majority of my life in Licking, MO, before moving to Salem in 1994. I live on a cattle farm with my husband. In my free time I enjoy reading and gardening.
